Daniel A. Olinger is a licensed member of the Montana Bar and a graduate of the University of Montana School of Law. Dan attended the University of Minnesota, and holds a dual B.S. in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management.
While attending law school, Dan worked in the Veteran’s Advocacy Clinic, assisting Montana military veterans in need of legal services for VA claims or appeals or DoD discharge upgrades. He also completed summer clerking positions with both Church, Harris, Johnson, & Williams, P.C. and Davis, Hatley, Haffeman & Tighe, P.C.
Dan joined Halverson, Mahlen and Wright in the Winter of 2022 and practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense. Prior to his time at HMW, he worked for Hoines Law Office, P.C. in Great Falls, specializing in civil litigation and criminal defense.
Outside of work, Dan is an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys upland bird hunting with his yellow lab, Gordie, and fly fishing the many streams and rivers of Montana.
